If you have the Copilot 365 license with granted access to other applications like SharePoint and Outlook you can become a sleuth extraordinaire.
When planning a presentation to your manager, your manager’s manager or any other important stakeholder it’s a good idea to align yourself to their goals. Copilot helps you make this a reality!
With the Copilot license you can ask it for information about what a person’s priorities and goals are, and also how they speak about them.
Copilot will reference their work, looking at places where they discuss goals or major projects. It will also reference any communication they’ve had with you in the past!
For example, one of my stakeholders has a few catch phrases like “rules of the road.” When I asked Copilot to help me frame my language in a way that appeals to him, Copilot gave me a great list of phrases he uses and linked me to decks where he’s outlined his major initiatives and priorities.
I then asked Copilot to reference my current presentation against the stakeholder information and it returned some great edits that helped slightly rephrase some items.
Of course, good judgment applies here as you don’t want to seem creepy! Just because information is available doesn’t always mean it’s good to advertise. And in an age where people are still becoming comfortable with the idea of AI and rules are constantly shifting, it’s good to keep that in mind!
But in general, it’s been helpful to get more clarity into the mind of stakeholders!
